SharePoint Agent+ for Jira

Connect SharePoint and OneDrive to Jira through an AI-powered Rovo agent. Ask questions about SharePoint sites, document libraries, OneDrive files, folders, pages, lists, and related project context, then view related Jira issue details using natural language.

Setup

  1. In Jira, go to Apps in the sidebar and click SharePoint and OneDrive Agent+

  2. Click Connect Microsoft Account

  3. Authorize the app with your Microsoft account

  4. Your Microsoft connection details will appear when connected

What You Can Do

SharePoint and OneDrive

  • Find SharePoint or OneDrive files, folders, pages, or list items related to a Jira ticket

  • Browse SharePoint sites, document libraries, folders, and file metadata

  • Search OneDrive files and folders visible to your connected account

  • View page, file, and list item details visible to your connected account

  • Search content for project docs, specs, decisions, and references

Jira

  • Search issues with JQL

  • View issue details, comments, remote links, and transitions

  • Check projects, priorities, changelogs, and watchers

  • Find issues assigned to you or recently updated

Requirements

  • Jira Cloud with Rovo enabled

  • Microsoft account with access to the relevant SharePoint sites, document libraries, OneDrive files, or lists

Data & Privacy

  • Read-only - the app never modifies your SharePoint, OneDrive, or Jira data

  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in Atlassian Forge secure storage

  • You can disconnect at any time from the app settings page

  • The app only reads SharePoint and OneDrive content visible to the connected account

  • Contact details and sensitive personal fields are redacted where possible

  • No data is sent to third-party servers

Troubleshooting

"Not connected" error in Rovo chat
Open the SharePoint and OneDrive Agent+ settings page and connect your Microsoft account.

No sites, files, or list items appear
Confirm your Microsoft account has access to the relevant SharePoint site, document library, or OneDrive folder.

OAuth popup does not close after authorizing
Try disabling popup blockers for your Jira site and reconnect.

Agent does not respond or times out
Refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, disconnect and reconnect your Microsoft account.
