Installation

  1. Open https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227554/ai-forms-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

  2. Click the Get it now button in the top right.

  3. Install to your Confluence instance.

Getting Started

MACRO Type /aiforms in the editor and select AI Forms+

REPORT Click Apps then AI Forms+ in the top navbar to view all forms and responses.

FAQs

 How do I change the form fields?

Due to Forge technical limitations the only way to change the form fields is to edit the Fields textbox using the text-based format listed further up this page. Add new fields line-by-line.

Note: fields cannot be changed after a form response has been submitted.

 Can I get form response email notifications?

Yep! You can access the configuration options via two methods:

  1. Apps in top navbar, click AI Forms+ and then click the settings gear icon.

  2. Apps in top navbar, then Manage apps, find AI Forms+ and click the Configure button.

Then toggle enable the notifications, add your email and a custom subject line.

 How do I update the live preview?

Due to technical limitations you’ll need to click the Toggle to refresh checkbox a few times in the macro config sidebar.

 The AI didn't understand what I wanted

AI can be brilliant when it works, but often it'll return unexpected results. Here’s some tips:

  • Try the examples listed when first inserting the macro.

  • Keep your input message simple and literal.

  • If it doesn’t work, try again with a different input message.

  • If you still have problems, contact support@appsplus.co

 Where and why is AI being used in the app?

We use a custom trained AI model to convert your natural language input into functional components that map onto Atlassian’s Forge UI kit components.

 What is the future roadmap of this and the other AI apps?

We will continue to improve the apps and release new feature improvements as Atlassian’s Forge platform matures. We’re also collecting training data to fine-tune the AI models so that they’ll become smarter and more useful.
