In the top navbar click Apps then Manage apps. Scroll down to Broken Links+ for Confluence and click the Configure button. From there you can show/hide the byline or set specific visibility settings.
On first install a full site-wide index will run. Broken links are then automatically checked when you create or edit content and if it has been 7+ days since last check of external or internal links.
The app provides ongoing automated monitoring of broken links across your entire Confluence instance. The full report will become available after the free trial (30-59 days). Note: Atlassian does not provide an option to end the free trial early.
Firstly try edit the content to immediately trigger the checking process, then refresh the page. If that doesn’t work please email us the link so we can debug: support@appsplus.co
If the link is inaccessible on the public internet (eg an intranet) then it will be incorrectly flagged as broken. Add such domains to the ignore list in the app configuration page: top navbar, Apps, Manage apps, Broken Links+ for Confluence, Configure.
No, if you’re on instanceA.atlassian.net it won’t be able to identify broken links to instanceB.atlassian.net even if both are accessible to you. This is a technical limitation imposed by Atlassian.
